Job Description
The Camera Operator position at Grace United Methodist Church is an entry-level role that involves operating a camera for our Sunday morning live stream. Camera operators are expected to:
- Work with directors to determine all aspects of shots
- Provide practical and creative input to scene planning
- Prepare cameras and test angles or camera movements
- Collaborate with director and sound staff to produce the best final effect
- Resolve technical or practical issues
The hours for this position are Sunday mornings, from 8:40 am to 10:20 am. The pay for each shift is $25, with 1-5 shifts available each month. Non-paid training can be provided.
Requirements
- Attention to detail
- Ability to remain focused for the duration of the service
- Able to reliably show up for the dates you sign up for
- Previous experience with camera operation is preferred but not required
