Job Description

This is a paid freelance, remote position. CBR is the #1 entertainment website, publishing up-to-the-minute news on blockbuster movies, TV shows, video games, comic books, music, and other forms of entertainment. As a worldwide leader, CBR operates at a rapid pace and is always looking for experienced and passionate contributors who can create original high-quality content in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Contribute 4-5 feature and list articles per week.
• Work under tight deadlines and submit tasks on time.
• Pitch and ideate original content ideas.
• Able to maintain a contracted freelance schedule.
• Report to various Editors and implement feedback efficiently.
• Adhere to a style guide.

Experience and Skills

• Educational background in journalism or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in producing entertainment and related content at a well-known digital publication.
• In-depth familiarity with and fierce passion for the entertainment industry, especially the latest movies and TV shows.
• Experience with SEO practices.
• Experience with a custom CMS, preferred.
