Job Description

Motion Graphic Designer (Contract Position) at EngagedMD is a remote role for an experienced motion graphic designer with a proven track record in eLearning. EngagedMD has a patient journey application used by over 2 million users and continues to experience significant growth in medical clinics across various markets. The role involves assisting in the post-production process by creating polished animated video content suitable for audiences using and contributing to the company’s asset library. You will collaborate with the Creative Director, senior producers, writers, animators/illustrators, and subject matter experts to develop branded animated video content. Contractors are required to reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Work as a contractor with the ability to work 40 hours per week depending on the demands of the motion graphics department.
• Collaborate on motion design projects and create solutions based on feedback.
• Contribute to the asset library by creating polished pieces suitable for audiences.
• Deliver work on time, within the company’s budget, and according to brand standards.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in the field with a proven portfolio of previous projects.
• Expert knowledge in animation and motion graphics, with secondary knowledge of filmcraft, design, post-production, and eLearning.
• Familiarity with Blender or 3D modeling software is a valuable asset.
• Sound understanding of After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of video and audio file formats and video analysis.
• Sound understanding of typography, composition, and a general eye for design.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
