Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital design and a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites that meet the needs of our clients while ensuring optimal usability and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Design engaging and responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize design concepts.
• Implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility on search engines.
• Utilize graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) to create visual elements including logos, icons, and layouts.
• Develop motion graphics and animations to enhance user interaction.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Maintain website content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Drupal, or SharePoint.
• Ensure websites are accessible according to web accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with developers on front-end development using frameworks like Angular or React.
• Analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics 360 and make data-driven decisions for enhancements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in web design with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Proficiency in web development languages including HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, Python, SQL, and frameworks such as Bootstrap or Node.js.
• Familiarity with wireframing tools like Figma, Axure, or Balsamiq.
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies including email marketing and social media integration.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout design, visual design principles, and information architecture.
• Experience with version control systems like Git for collaborative projects.
• Excellent data analysis skills to interpret web analytics for performance optimization.
