Job Description

The Physical Therapy Program within the School of Health Sciences at Oakland University is seeking up to three accomplished musicians to provide live music for an evening event on Friday, December 12th, 2025, in the Oakland Center Ballrooms. This is a short-term, event-based opportunity. Musicians are expected to perform music styles and repertoire suitable for a formal university event.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Accomplished musician, with a minimum of three years of event performance experience.
• A minimum of three years prior experience working in trios or small ensembles.
• Event performance experience within the last year.
• Ability to perform on the date and times required.

Desired Qualifications

• Existing trio or small ensemble (maximum of three performers; each performer needs to apply).
• Prior performance experience at Oakland University or other university events.
• Demonstrated ability to perform collaboratively and professionally in formal settings.
