Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Audio Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for doing sound for live music events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio engineering and a passion for sound mixing, as well as proficiency in industry-standard software.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Audio Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in audio mixers such as x32 and xair18.
• Strong understanding of live music event processes and signal processing techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail with a creative approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to take constructive feedback effectively.

Duties

• Collaborate with artists and managers to understand project requirements and audio needs.
• Operate audio equipment during live events.
• Operate Behringer X32 audio mixer and other digital mixers.
• Implement signal processing techniques to enhance sound quality.
• Do the main FOH mix of the event and the monitor mix for the musicians.
• Set up all audio equipment for 5 musicians and tear down at the end.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 6 per week
