Job Description

We are seeking a creative and organized Social Media Marketing Assistant to support our marketing and promotional efforts. This temporary role involves working closely with both the Activity Director and Marketing Liaison to create and schedule engaging content that reflects our business’s brand and keeps our community involved. This is an ON SITE position in Lewisville, TX, offering flexible part-time hours.

Requirements

Job Title: Social Media Marketing Assistant

Location: In-office – Lewisville, TX

Pay Rate: $13/hour

Schedule: 10–15 hours/week | Flexible scheduling

Duration: Temporary – 3-month assignment

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule social media content promoting events, activities, and general marketing initiatives
• Collaborate with the Activity Director and Marketing Director to gather content and stay informed about upcoming events
• Design eye-catching visuals using Canva (preferred)
• Post across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
• Monitor engagement and suggest improvements or new ideas for content
• Assist in maintaining a consistent brand voice and style across platforms

Qualifications

• Experience with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of social media content creation and scheduling
• Canva experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Creative mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Additional Information

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
