Job Description
This is a remote position for a hands-on technical SEO specialist to build the technical foundation that supports an innovative e-commerce company’s ambitious growth plans. The company is undergoing rapid digital transformation, expanding its online presence across over 20,000 products, transitioning from a traditional niche into a comprehensive lifestyle marketplace.
Your role will focus on fixing existing technical issues and implementing robust SEO infrastructure for a large-scale e-commerce operation. This high-impact position requires enhancing website performance, search rankings, and overall online visibility. You will work independently on technical implementations while collaborating with SEO and content specialists for comprehensive optimization.
Requirements
- Strong technical SEO expertise with proven hands-on implementation experience
- Advanced proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and related technical SEO tools
- Experience with Shopify platform technical optimization and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with the Australian market or Australian companies strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently on complex technical implementations
- Minimum 20 hours per week availability with flexible scheduling
- Experience working with large-scale e-commerce sites and high-volume product catalogs preferred
Job Highlights

- Schedule: minimum 20 hours per week; Mon-Fri, 10 PM-2 AM (Sydney)
- For the first 6 months, work the same hours as assigned; subsequent schedule may change

Additional Information
Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, candidates must have their own computer and internet connection.
