Job Description

Title: Cloud Services Developer

Duration: 5 Months

Client: City of Philadelphia

Location: 1234 Market Street, 18th Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19107

Note: This is a remote role.

Work activities include: backing up the Informatica version 8.1.1 Repository, setting up a test server, using the image production server to establish the test server, creating Informatica mappings on the cloud platform, conducting cleanup on the IDMC server, incorporating all current sequence IDs from Production into the Test Repository, creating metadata on the IDMC server, and verifying the migrated repository.

Requirements

Required skills:

• Knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter.
• Experience in Informatica PowerCenter upgrade migration.
• Experience in Informatica PowerCenter software installation - Multiple versions.
• Ability to spec out hardware requirements.
• Experience in developing ETL processes end-to-end in Informatica.
• Knowledge of data modeling, transformations, mappings, workflows.
• Ability to apply best practices to ETL development, testing, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Knowledge of SQL (standard).
• Ability to provide training to the City’s Informatica PowerCenter administrator/developer(s).

Highly Desired/Preferred skills:

• Experience in older versions of Informatica PowerCenter such as 8.1.1.
• Informatica Certified Professional.
• Experience with performance tuning.
