Job Description
Looking for a freelance sound engineer to assist with the set-up and operation of sound for live events accommodating approximately 150-300 people, with occasional larger events for 500-600 attendees. The events may include talking heads, comedy acts, live music performances, and conferences. Most events are indoors, but there are occasional outdoor events. The role may involve utilizing in-house sound systems or additional equipment, and events often require running multiple microphones, projections, and live streaming setups. The events are primarily located in South Jersey and Pennsylvania, with potential events in New York.
Requirements
- Experience in sound engineering for live events.
- Ability to transport equipment and willingness to drive up to an hour or more for events.
- Availability for temporary, freelance, or seasonal positions.
- Must provide a resume and hourly rate for consideration.
Additional Information
Transportation stipend included. A great team environment with opportunities for multiple events.
