Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Services Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based applications and services. You will work with various cloud platforms and technologies to ensure efficient and scalable solutions that meet our clients’ needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, software development, and IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement service-oriented architecture for cloud applications.
• Develop and maintain applications using cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and Rackspace.
• Utilize virtualization technologies including VMware, OpenStack, and Docker to optimize cloud infrastructure.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git for seamless software deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine application requirements.
• Create RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between services.
• Ensure system hardening and security best practices are followed in all deployments.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible for automated provisioning of cloud resources.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud services, applications, and infrastructure.
• Stay updated on industry trends in cloud computing and contribute to the continuous improvement of our cloud architecture.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter.
• Experience in Informatica PowerCenter upgrade migration.
• Experience in Informatica PowerCenter software installation - Multiple versions.
• Ability to spec out hardware requirements.
• Experience in developing ETL processes end-to-end in Informatica.
• Knowledge of data modeling, transformations, mappings, workflows.
• Ability to apply best practices to ETL development, testing, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Knowledge of SQL (standard).
• Ability to provide training to the City’s Informatica PowerCenter administrator/developers(s).
• Experience with Informatica 8.1 and newer.
• Informatica Certified Professional.

Additional Information

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $51.74 - $67.23 per hour

Work Location: Remote
