Job Description

The Westview Church is looking for a Digital Media Producer to lead the Audio-Visual component of its ministry. The role involves ensuring high-quality output for live streams, podcasts, and video content that supports and promotes the church’s mission. The producer will collaborate with various church staff to enhance worship experiences, grow the church body through digital outreach, and maintain digital content across multiple platforms.

The position will report directly to the Church Pastor, and candidates should be prepared to showcase previous work in their interviews, demonstrating necessary skills and experience.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in live streaming AV productions, particularly with YouTube OBS and other relevant technologies.
• Proven ability to organize and maintain a high-quality library of produced content across various platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and others.
• Experience in setup, operation, troubleshooting, and optimization of audio-visual equipment, including microphones, cameras, lighting, and sound equipment.
• Ability to monitor and adjust audio and video output in real-time during services.
• Effective collaboration skills to work with pastoral staff and church members to ensure seamless operation of all AV services.

Expectations:

• Arrive on time for meetings, services, and additional agreed-upon events.
• Timely logging of hours worked in the time collection system.
• Prompt communication with the team regarding projects, schedules, and needs, ideally during business hours.

Additional Information

Typical Schedule:

• Sunday mornings from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, including pre-service setup, service monitoring, and post-service editing.

Additional Job Responsibilities (when applicable):

• Attend meetings and training as necessary.
• Perform system checks and adjustments as agreed upon.
• Consult with church leadership regarding system operations and improvements.

Wages:

The Digital Media Producer will be compensated at $150 for each Sunday worked, with additional pay for other tasks ranging from $40.00 to $50.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and duties.

Normal expected hours range from 3 to 5 per week, with opportunities for more based on church events.

Location and Working Conditions:

• The position requires in-person work in Boulder, CO.
• No travel is required.
