Job Description

Sonus Software Solutions Inc. is seeking a Cloud Services Developer for a long-term contract position based in Philadelphia, PA. The candidate will support migration activities from Informatica PowerCenter to the cloud, including backing up repositories, setting up test servers, and ensuring cleanup on the IDMC server.

Requirements

Required:

• Knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter.
• Experience in Informatica PowerCenter upgrade migration.
• Experience in Informatica PowerCenter software installation (multiple versions).
• Ability to specify hardware requirements.
• Experience in developing ETL processes end-to-end in Informatica.
• Knowledge of data modeling, transformations, mappings, and workflows.
• Ability to apply best practices to ETL development, testing, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Knowledge of SQL (standard).
• Ability to provide training to the City’s Informatica PowerCenter administrator/developers.

Highly Desired/Preferred:

• Experience in older versions of Informatica PowerCenter (e.g., 8.1.1).
• Informatica Certified Professional.
• Experience with performance tuning.

Work Activities

This role will involve specific tasks, including:

• Backing up the Informatica version 8.1.1 repository.
• Setting up a test server using the image from the production server.
• Creating Informatica mappings on the cloud platform.
• Cleaning up on the IDMC server.
• Incorporating all current sequence IDs from production into the test repository.
• Creation of metadata on the IDMC server.
• Verifying the migrated repository.

Additional Information

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 40 per week
