Job Description

The Musical Sound Manager, under the supervision of the Building Principal and reporting to the Musical Director, is responsible for managing the technical elements of sound and audio-visual support for the school’s musical production. This role collaborates closely with the musical production team to ensure the effective operation and quality of all sound components during rehearsals and performances, while providing guidance and technical support to students and staff involved in the production.

Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience with stage operations, including sound and audio-visual systems preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License Preferred.
• Must pass all background checks.
• Collaborate with the Musical Director and team to coordinate all technical aspects of sound for the production.
• Communicate effectively with staff, students, and volunteers to ensure seamless technical support and teamwork throughout rehearsals and performances.
• Support the successful execution of the musical’s sound and audio-visual needs from setup to final performance.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, during rehearsals and performances.
• Basic knowledge of stage operations, including sound and AV systems.
• Work collaboratively with school staff and students to meet school needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Dependable, professional in appearance, loyal, and discreet.
• Must have ability to recognize and respect confidentiality of records and information.

• Clearances (PA Child Abuse - $13.00, PA Criminal History - $22.00, FBI Fingerprint clearance -Service Code 1KG6XN- $23.00)
• Pre-employment drug screening

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: Up to $1,000.00 per year
