Job Description

This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Should have good working experience with Informatica PowerCenter/IDMC
  • 3-5 years of Object-Oriented Programming experience
  • Good experience with Data Management/Migration
  • Strong knowledge of version control (i.e. git, svn, etc.)
  • Experience in Testing (unit, integration, etc.), along with test automation
  • Good understanding of regulatory rules and applications
  • Ability to code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Work closely with lead developers to implement Python/ETL application architectures and designs
  • Perform Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
  • Contribute to story refinement and definition of requirements
  • Participate in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
  • Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
  • Liaise with business users on various enhancement requests and production issues
  • The candidate should be a self-starter who enjoys programming, can work as part of a global team, and has successfully delivered significant enterprise-scale projects to end-users previously

Additional Information

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Contract Duration: 18-24 month W2 Contract

Compensation: $65-74/hour
