Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Camera Operator with a flexible schedule who is willing to work long hours when needed. This role requires someone who can adapt to fast-paced filming environments, capture high-quality footage, and ensure all equipment is functioning at its best.

Responsibilities

• Operate cameras during shoots, ensuring steady, well-composed, and visually appealing footage.
• Maintain camera and related equipment in excellent working order.
• Perform routine equipment checks and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
• Collaborate with the production team to achieve desired visual styles and storytelling goals.
• Apply a strong understanding of lighting, framing, and composition to each project.
• Follow creative direction while bringing your own visual expertise to the table.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Camera Operator or in a similar role in film, TV, or media production (preferred but not required).
• Proficiency in operating various types of cameras, including Cannon G7x.
• Strong understanding of lighting techniques, framing, composition, and sound recording principles.
• Familiarity with video editing software (preferred, not required).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work extended hours when required.
• You must be in these areas: Scottsdale, Phoenix, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa (not required but preferred).
