JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing and Communications Office in the Penn State College of Arts and Architecture’s Stuckeman School is seeking a part-time visual content creator starting spring semester of 2026. The role involves developing new and engaging content for the school’s digital platforms and serving as a student ambassador for the Stuckeman social media channels.
This position requires candidates to be currently enrolled as second- through fourth-year architecture students at Penn State. The role will require up to 12 hours per week, starting at $13 per hour.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The intern will:
- Capture and create content for digital platforms/social media channels that reflects life at Penn State as a Stuckeman School architecture student would experience it.
- Edit high-quality video content.
- Research social/digital content trends that could be leveraged by our school.
- Participate in brainstorming new digital content ideas.
- Seek out potential content collaborators including fellow students, faculty members, researchers, and community members.
- Assist with analyzing content performance.
- Attend and document school and departmental events, as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have a passion for graphic design and the design disciplines.
- Are creative and self-motivated.
- Are organized and detail-oriented.
- Have the ability to connect Stuckeman School goals and values to our overall content strategy.
- Have experience with video, photography, audio, and/or animation.
- Understand the current social media landscape.
