Job Description

The SQL Database Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining databases and database applications using SQL. Their primary focus will be on ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance of database systems. The role requires collaboration within a team and the ability to multi-task effectively while adapting to changes.

Requirements

• BE/B Tech/MCA/MBA
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in SQL and experienced with relational databases, particularly SQL Server
• Experience with application development and database performance tuning, preferably in a large corporation
• High level of integrity, sense of urgency, attention to detail, and quality standards
• Strong proficiency with SQL Server and database design
• Able to understand complex database landscapes and manage large SQL statements
• Experience in optimizing ETL jobs and tuning database queries
• Exposure to SDLC tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, SVN, TeamCity, Jenkins, Nolio, Crucible)
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies
• Strong data transformation abilities and commitment to data quality
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into data solutions
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN
• Understanding of code versioning tools (SVN) and production scripts
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting and Integration Services (e.g., Informatica)

Additional Information

Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in core expertise required.

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 6 - 12 months

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

Location: Alpharetta, GA - 3 days Hybrid expected
