2D/2.5D animator for The Black Marsh Hero Elder Scrolls fan animated movie.

We are producing a fan animated movie based on The Elder Scrolls, titled ‘The Black Marsh Hero.’ Our project already has over 20 collaborators from diverse backgrounds, including a lead animator, co-director, and producer. We are looking to add at least two more 2D/2.5D animators to our team. As an animator, you will work with the team and report to our lead animator, participating in the animation process for the film. Communication is managed via Discord and Casting Call Club. Payment is optionally provided upfront, with a possible increase depending on the success of the movie online. The project’s trailer aims for a public release by March 2026, and after release, may be pitched to major streaming services pending clearance from Bethesda Game Studios. The final overall movie has no deadline but will have soft and hard deadlines as the project goes on to ensure progress is steadily made. All participants will receive credit under a Creative Commons Attribution license. There are no strict deadlines, but soft and hard deadlines will be set as the project progresses. No contracts are required, and administrators will oversee both animation and production sides.

About the client
I am a 20 year old male, who loves video games, writing, designing, and animation. I’ve always loved animation at a young age and consistently prefer animated movies over live action. I am pretty smart, witty, and sometimes annoying, but who isn’t sometimes? I’ve loved the Elder Scrolls for a while and fell in love with not mainly the game, but the lore and world of the Elder Scrolls. I write a lot and have many ideas constantly circling around my head for a new book or maybe a new game, but don’t have the skills to make my own from scratch. I want to show the world my stories, ideas, and games that really sit with them, a successful story, idea, or game has to have a lasting effect on you, or it’s not good. I want people to close my book, finish listening, or finish playing and feel different after, that’s my goal with my work, and I aim to live up to it.
