Job Description

The Web Developer position is with Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, specifically within the Laboratory for Computer Science Research (LCSR) unit. The role involves the development of web applications and sites used by the Computer Science Department within the School of Arts and Sciences. Key responsibilities include creating, upgrading, and maintaining code for several applications.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Skills in web development, specifically HTML, CSS, and PHP.
• Ability to work in a Linux environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Laravel framework and GIT.

Additional Information

Position Status: Part Time

Working Hours: 5 - 15 hours per week

Salary and Benefits

Salary Details: $28 - $32/hourly
