Job Description

Our company is hiring a Wordpress Developer to enhance and troubleshoot an existing custom, commercial and open-source WordPress website. Our ideal candidate should have strong experience with HTML, CSS, PHP, custom WordPress plugins, JavaScript and cross-browser compatibility. You will also be expected to create and implement plugins to extend the functionality of our websites. Lastly, you should understand the issues that may arise while developing WordPress sites and how to handle them.

Requirements

• Strong experience with HTML, CSS, PHP, custom WordPress plugins, JavaScript and cross-browser compatibility.
• Ability to create and implement plugins to extend website functionality.
• Experience working with web developers to create and modify WordPress themes and plugins.
• Skills to create, update and delete content on WordPress websites.
• Capability to update WordPress themes and plugins based on client requests.
• Knowledge of plugin configuration for proper operation.
• Experience in creating new WordPress themes using programming languages like CSS, HTML, PHP or JavaScript and front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
• Ability to convert PSD files into responsive HTML5 templates for use with WordPress.
• Experience in working with remote teams and developers.

Additional Information

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
