2D Animator is needed in United Kingdom.
I am an illustrator and author of children’s brands, looking for an experienced 2D rigger/animator to help bring my cute vector character to life. The main task is to rig my character artwork using Cartoon Animator 5 (preferred), enabling easy use of motion templates. I also need 4–6 starter actions created (such as wave, turn, sit, peek, kiss, idle), and help setting up simple prop interactions like sitting on a chair or using a soft toy. Light motion or ‘flop’ effects should be added to the toy. You will provide a remote handover showing me how to use the rig, add motions and props, and export GIFs, and assist with setting up a Giphy account and uploading GIFs (hourly rates for this part). The project is expected to take 1–2 working days and my goal is to have a professionally rigged, brand-ready character with a small animation library so I can create looping GIFs and Giphy content myself in the future. There may be ongoing animation work after this initial project.
