Job Description

This role is for residents of South Florida only, as proof of residency will be required during onboarding. Rhino Staging Florida, a labor company in the live event industry, is seeking an Video Engineer (V1) to join their crew for concerts, festivals, and corporate events in the South Florida area. The position requires candidates who can work proficiently on various video presentation switchers and who have a history of service excellence when interacting with clients and VIPs.

Requirements

• Candidates must work proficiently on varying video presentation switchers.
• Submit a polished resume and work history (PDF format only). Certification on specific boards should be provided if invited for an interview.
• Provide a list of references and have a strong reputation for service excellence.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs on your own.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours with no set weekly schedule.
• Ability to work under varying weather conditions.
• Cooperate with teammates and supervisors.
• Appropriate attire for concert/corporate events.
• Understand general AV industry terms and fundamental principles.
• Work roles as both a technician and stagehand.
• Strong understanding of audio signal flow.
• Able to patch audio snakes, audio amp racks, and mic backline equipment.
• Experience with placing wireless mics and setting up clear-com systems.
• Knowledgeable assistance to an audio engineer.

Additional Information

This is an ON-CALL POSITION with varying work hours and schedules, as Rhino Staging operates 24 hours, seven days a week, including holidays. The starting pay rate is $50 per hour. A mandatory pre-hire assessment and compliance with company policies and procedures are required.
