Job Description

Title: Digital Content Designer

Location: St. Louis, MO - 63164

Contract: 12 months

Hybrid role: 4 days Onsite and 1 day Remote

• This is a 12-month contingent position.
• Only local candidates near St. Louis, MO, will be considered.
• Must work onsite Monday-Thursday with work from home on Friday.
• Must submit a portfolio to be considered.
• Must be able to work in a pet-friendly environment.
• Portfolios must demonstrate impressive design and motion skills, with a focus on social media experience.

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum):

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience: 1+ years in the digital space, preferably with a creative agency.
• 1+ years of experience with social campaigns, digital display, and eContent.
• 1+ years of experience with After Effects and motion design.

Skills:

• Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills for both digital and print design.
• Strong understanding of designing for social, ecommerce, and digital display.
• Ability to contribute to brainstorming and problem-solving.
• Strong typography skills.
• Strong motion design skills, including After Effects and animated GIFs.
• Basic video editing skills.

Additional Skills:

• Responsible for design variations or entire design as outlined by project AD.
• Knowledge of advanced key commands, paragraph formatting, typography, style sheets, and tab fields.
• Proper digital file management/archiving.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and execute online communications under the direction of a creative director.
• Ensure quality assurance and attention to detail in content versioning for various digital formats.
• Create error-free digital files that meet efficiency and legal standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams, including Community Managers and legal partners.
• Stay updated on digital/mobile/social trends and apply them to client business.
• Contribute to agency growth in interactive capabilities.

Additional Information

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Experience:

• Adobe After Effects: 2 years (Required)
• Motion graphics: 2 years (Required)

Ability to Commute: St. Louis, MO (Required)
