Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Software Developer with a passion for experience, growth, and contribution. This role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data-driven solutions within the Salesforce Data Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights, building robust data pipelines, and mentoring junior developers while ensuring high coding standards.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7-9 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud or similar data platforms.
• Proven experience in data ingestion, mapping, identity resolution, and related processes within Salesforce ecosystems.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, SQL, and API integrations.
• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and SSJS scripting.
• Experience handling CSV data, large datasets, and complex relational data structures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across technical and business teams.
• The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification as a Salesforce Data Cloud Accredited Professional (highly preferred).
• Certification in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (a plus).
• Hands-on experience with Postman, DBeaver, or similar data/automation tools.
• Strong command over complex SQL queries and API design principles.
• Understanding of marketing automation concepts, customer journey design, and data-driven marketing.
• Exposure to data governance, ETL frameworks, and cloud integration patterns.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for:

• Technical Leadership: Lead technical teams, mentor junior developers, and act as a liaison between execution and management layers.
• Solution Design & Development: Design scalable data models, develop data ingestion processes, and implement best practices for data handling.
• Collaboration & Communication: Translate business needs into technical solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams, and maintain documentation of processes.
• Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Identify process gaps, drive improvements, perform peer code reviews, and stay updated with emerging technologies.
