Job Description

Tirmizi Design Studio is a full service, multi-disciplinary architecture and design firm based in New York City. A team of creative architects, interior designers, graphic designers and technologists led by Asifa Tirmizi, an architect, interior designer and artist. We are excited to provide our clients with a collaborative, hands-on approach which ultimately results in an extraordinary aesthetic. We aim to provide tailored, creative, and functional design solutions to meet and exceed the goals of every client. Our clientele is diverse and includes private residential owners, restaurateurs, hospitality groups, real estate developers, not-for-profit foundations, start-ups and commercial corporations.

Our experience includes a wide array of projects that vary greatly in type and scale ranging from residential (small apartment to townhouse) to commercial (doctor’s office to corporate headquarters). Each project presents its own unique challenges, and we enjoy addressing each challenge with a tailored rather than cookie-cutter approach. We strive to develop a long-term relationship with the client, beyond project occupancy, to ensure maximum client satisfaction.

We are looking for an architect/interior designer to join our team. You are passionate about your craft, entrepreneurial, collaborative, and driven by curiosity. This role is a great fit for people who have experience working on all phases of a project, from concept through construction, and are as obsessed with the texture of a wallcovering as they are a corner detail.

Requirements

_ 5+ years of experience in interiors or architecture

_ Bachelor of Architecture or Interior Architecture from an accredited school is a must

_ Excellent AutoCAD skills, Photoshop, and InDesign are a must; must understand the full scope of a design project

_ Position is Freelance/Part-Time

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
