Technical Designer for Fashion Brands
Textile Designer is needed in Morocco.
We are AURA, a company based in Morocco, looking for a technical designer for fashion brands. We need someone to develop detailed tech packs including flat sketches, measurement charts, construction details, and bill of materials (BOM). The role will involve creating and maintaining specifications for fabrics, trims, labels, and packaging. You will work closely with our factory sample room to develop prototypes, review samples, and communicate corrections or improvements, and ensure consistency of fit and sizing across product lines. The ideal candidate is able to review and adjust patterns and grading in collaboration with pattern makers, ensure technical feasibility for mass production using local resources, monitor fabric testing and performance standards, liaise with suppliers for sourcing materials, prepare final production files, and maintain accurate technical documentation. This is a remote, contract part-time position, but you must be located within Morocco. You will be key in supporting our sampling to pre-production stages and ensuring a smooth process from design to production.
