Job Description

We’re My City My Dream Studios, a creative hub in Chicago’s South Loop, home to two premium recording rooms — The Platinum Room and The Gold Room. We’re looking for freelance audio engineers who already have a few clients and want access to a clean, high-end studio environment. You’ll rent the studio at a discounted hourly rate, keep 100% of what you charge your clients, and have the chance to take on additional sessions from our in-house bookings and events like Sip N’ Stu. This isn’t a 9–5 job — it’s a partnership opportunity for motivated engineers who want a professional space to create, grow, and connect.

Requirements

• Experienced engineers with their own active clients
• Able to consistently bring 10+ hours of sessions per week
• Proficient in Pro Tools or similar DAWs
• Dependable, professional, and respectful studio etiquette
• Ready to start immediately and grow with our team

Earnings & Details

Independent engineers typically earn $30–$60+ per hour from their client sessions. You’ll rent the studio at a discounted hourly rate and keep 100% of what you charge your clients.
