Job Description

Dena Frawley Consultants, LLC provides web development and public relations services to small businesses, including specialty healthcare practices, occupational trades, and professional organizations. We are seeking a motivated Junior SEO Specialist to join our Digital Strategy Team.

This role is ideal for someone early in their SEO career who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a supportive, collaborative environment. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in search engine optimization, web analytics, and content management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing, a strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, and a desire to grow within a dynamic environment. Reporting to the Director of Web Development and Digital Strategy, you will support SEO and website optimization for a variety of projects. The candidate will work closely with senior team members to implement strategies that improve website visibility and drive organic traffic across various platforms.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify target keywords for various campaigns
• Assist in optimizing website content, including metadata, headers, and images, to improve search engine rankings
• Support in implementing conversion optimization strategies to enhance user engagement and lead generation
• Utilize SEO tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and SEM tools to monitor website performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Implement technical SEO fixes involving HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies to enhance site speed and usability
• Assist with link building campaigns to increase domain authority and search engine rankings
• Use Google Tag Manager and other tracking tools to set up and analyze web analytics data
• Collaborate on social media management efforts to support integrated digital marketing campaigns
• Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices for search engines
• Ensure HIPAA compliance where applicable to client industries
• Collaborate with teams company-wide on digital strategy projects

Experience

• Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing concepts
• Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress or similar platforms
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Experience with SEO tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret web analytics data and derive actionable insights
• Knowledge of keyword research techniques and metadata optimization strategies
• Exposure to e-commerce platforms and social media management is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in web analytics, SEM, and search engine algorithms
