Freelance Hardware Engineer – Bluetooth Wearable Prototype [Urgent]

About NLB Guardian: NLB Guardian™ (Never Look Back Guardian™) is a safety innovation focused on empowering individuals on the move, such as runners and travelers, by providing them a discreet, wearable device. The device connects via Bluetooth to a mobile app to send alerts, share location, and provide reassurance. Never Look Back Running is seeking a freelance hardware or product engineer with experience in Bluetooth-enabled wearables or IoT to help define, design, and build a working prototype for this device. The role entails hardware prototyping, integrating Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), firmware development for simple user input, sourcing hardware components, and ensuring the product is low-power and rechargeable. The project schedule is a 6–8 week contract with the potential for future work, and the timeline is flexible based on the right candidate. Applicants should have a relevant portfolio and a problem-solving mindset. This is more than a technical build—it’s an opportunity to contribute to a project with real impact for user safety and peace of mind.
