Job Description

RedCloud Consulting is seeking a Data Scientist to support immediate client operations. The role involves leveraging expertise in data analytics, visualization, and pipeline development to drive data-informed decisions that improve performance, advance sustainability goals, and enhance operational safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform data cleaning and preparation, including handling missing data, outliers, and inconsistencies.
• Conduct statistical analyses and develop models for performance metrics (e.g., PCA, regression-based forecasting).
• Design and implement A/B testing frameworks to optimize user interfaces for safety and reporting platforms.
• Build and manage data pipelines using SQL, Python, and ETL tools to ensure integrity and scalability.
• Execute data migrations and implement quality controls using tools such as BigQuery and Looker Studio.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs, streamline reporting, and align strategic goals.
• Create dynamic dashboards and visualizations in Looker Studio, Tableau, and PLX to present actionable insights.
• Develop intelligence reports for operational, quarterly, and monthly business reviews.
• Explore automation opportunities and support predictive and prescriptive analytics initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics or data science roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python (numpy, pandas, matplotlib), and ETL pipeline development.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI; PLX is a plus).
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts (PCA, regression, A/B testing).
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques (classification, clustering).
• Knowledge of BigQuery and Google Developer Tools (Critique, Cider, Piper) preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; ability to present insights to senior leadership.

Tools

• AI Workflows – Strong understanding and hands-on experience in designing and implementing AI-driven workflows.
• Vertex AI – Familiarity with Google’s Vertex AI platform for building and deploying machine learning models.
• Automation Tools – Experience with Opal, N8N, or Make.com for workflow automation and integration.

Compensation
