Job Description
This is a remote position for the role of Sr. Java Backend Developer. The position is long-term, allowing for flexibility in work location.
Requirements
Top 5 Required Skills/Experience:
- Candidate must have 10+ years of experience in JAVA
- Hands-on experience with Java - Java 7/8/ J2EE Application
- Expertise in writing complex queries of SQL and PL/SQL queries in Oracle
- Acted in a technical leader capacity to define and deliver distributed solutions
- Strong programming and problem-solving skills
Additional Required Skills/Experience:
- SDLC methodology
- Developing and executing unit testing
- Code version control
- Written and verbal communication
- Ability to conform with established coding standards
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Understanding and working knowledge of basic UNIX/Linux commands
- Application integration solutions
- Batch and real-time solutions
- Relational databases including SQL and stored procedures
- Object-oriented design and development
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor degree required – Computer Science
