Job Description
Operate and manage audio mixing consoles during live events and broadcasts. Maintain audio signal flow across microphones, playback devices, streaming interfaces, and intercom systems. Collaborate with producers, technical directors, and talent to ensure clear, balanced sound. Perform sound checks, troubleshoot issues on-the-fly, and maintain audio quality throughout production. Mix live music, voice, effects, and ambient sound for both in-room and streamed audiences. Set up and tear down audio equipment efficiently between events.
Requirements
- Experience with professional audio consoles (e.g., Yamaha, etc.) in live event or broadcast settings.
- Familiarity with DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro) and audio routing systems.
- Strong understanding of live audio mixing, EQ, compression, and signal processing.
- Ability to troubleshoot under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach with multi-department crews.
- Local to Atlanta and available for on-site work.
