Job Description

We are seeking an Environment Artist and Level Designer to collaborate on finishing the demo of “Wolf of the Desert,” a project being developed by a team of students and juniors. The goal is to complete the demo by mid-November 2025. This position comes with potential revenue share.

Requirements

• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with stealth game level design, Unreal Engine, Blender 3D, and other relevant applications.
• Portfolio: A robust portfolio demonstrating the ability to create immersive interior levels.
• Skills: Proficient in Level Design, Environment Design, Character Modeling, 3D Modeling, Lighting, Texturing, Basic Sculpting and Animating, using and modifying premade assets, and prototyping/grey boxing levels.
• Creativity: Ability to innovate upon existing levels in similar games and efficiently use premade assets.
• Communication: Strong written, presentation, and teamwork skills, with timely communication, and a requirement to document hours worked with screenshots of completed work.
• Tools: Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5, Blender (or similar DCC software), and Substance Designer or alternatives; experience with Maya is a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience at game studios and on shipped games is highly advantageous.
