I am looking for an experienced residential designer or draftsperson to create five detailed layout drawings for various rooms in my home. These will be based on my room measurements, inspiration boards, and additional notes, with the aim to produce builder-ready layouts that focus on practicality and clear communication of space use. The work includes designs for an ensuite and robe area, integrated laundry/bathroom, basement, kitchen, and an add-on structure, each with specific requirements regarding efficiency, flow, and functionality. All information needed, such as measurements, reference sketches, and design direction, will be provided upon engagement. The ideal candidate is confident in interpreting both measurements and hand sketches, can work with feedback for revisions, and is skilled with tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit. Final deliverables must be five clear, scaled layout plans (PDF or CAD), with optional lighting layout, suitable for builder quotes and guidance.
