Job Description

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented marketing freelance professional to support ongoing marketing initiatives across our brands and campaigns. This position is ideal for someone who has a wide skillset from digital marketing and social media to copywriting, website updates, and graphic design. You’ll help bring our projects to life through clear, cohesive messaging and strong visual presentation, ensuring our brand story and goals are consistently communicated across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Strategy: Assist with planning and executing marketing campaigns and promotions, develop ideas to increase engagement, awareness, and conversions, and help coordinate product launches, email campaigns, and partnerships.

Website Management: Update website content, images, and layouts as needed on Wix and WordPress. Optimize pages for SEO and user experience while ensuring messaging and visuals align with brand tone.

Copywriting & Content Creation: Write and edit marketing copy for emails, newsletters, web pages, blog posts, and press releases.

Graphic Design: Create visual assets for digital and print materials (social media posts, banners, email graphics, flyers, business cards, posters, product packaging, etc.) while working within brand guidelines to maintain a consistent aesthetic.

Social Media Management: Generate ideas for posts, reels, stories, and ads that can drive revenue for an e-commerce brand. Plan, create, schedule, and post content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Engage with audiences and respond to messages/comments as needed, and track performance metrics to suggest improvements.

Requirements

Ideal Qualifications: Proven experience in marketing, content creation, and design. Strong writing and communication skills are essential. Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools, along with familiarity with website platforms (WordPress and Wix). The candidate should be organized, self-motivated, and proactive in suggesting ideas. Experience with beauty, wellness, or e-commerce brands is a plus.

Additional Information

Details: This is a freelance/contract role, remote position preferably within the PST time zone. Compensation ranges from CAD $17.85 to $35/hour, depending on experience, with invoices submitted monthly.

Expected hours: No less than 1 per week.
