Job Description

This is a remote position.

Webgility is the most powerful ecommerce automation platform built for multichannel sellers. Designed for businesses that sell across Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, wholesale, and POS, Webgility connects every sales channel to your accounting system including QuickBooks and Xero. The platform syncs orders, payouts, inventory, and COGS with AI-powered accuracy and flexible, customizable workflows. Trusted by thousands of growing brands and ecommerce accounting firms, Webgility replaces spreadsheets and entry-level tools to deliver real-time visibility, clean books, and audit-ready financials, so you can sell anywhere, sync everything, and scale smarter.

We’re hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead Webgility’s go-to-market strategy, messaging, and competitive positioning. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Growth, and Sales and is responsible for turning product capabilities into compelling customer value. The ideal candidate brings deep product marketing expertise in the US SMB B2B SaaS space with a focus on the Online Retail industry, strong GTM instincts, and a builder mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Messaging, Positioning, and Segmentation

  • Own product messaging and positioning that clearly articulates our value to different ICPs and personas.
  • Continuously refine positioning to reflect competitive advantages and evolving market dynamics.
  • Translate product features into clear, outcome-driven value propositions for founders, operations teams, bookkeepers, and accountants.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct competitor research and pricing comparisons to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor shifts to keep Webgility’s narrative ahead of the curve.
  • Develop battlecards and internal briefs for Sales and GTM teams.

Pricing & Value Alignment

  • Partner with Product and Leadership on pricing and packaging strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for bundling, upsell paths, and pricing tier optimizations.
  • Align messaging with buyer pain points, ROI, and perceived value.

Go-to-Market Ownership

  • Lead launch planning for new features, product updates, and packaging changes.
  • Create GTM playbooks and orchestrate cross-functional coordination across Product, Sales, and Growth.
  • Define launch KPIs (e.g., adoption, engagement, sales enablement usage) and drive post-launch performance reviews.

App Store & Channel Optimization

  • Own and optimize our presence across the QuickBooks App Store, Shopify App Store, and other marketplaces.
  • Test messaging, visuals, and value props to drive installs, reviews, and visibility.
  • Partner with Growth on improving conversion and visibility across these listings.

Enablement & Sales Support

  • Build product narratives, one-pagers, demo decks, and sales enablement assets that help teams convert more effectively.
  • Support Sales and Customer Success with updated messaging, use cases, and persona-based objection handling.
  • Deliver internal training sessions and launch briefings to ensure message consistency across all touchpoints.

Product Adoption & Market Feedback

  • Analyze usage patterns, feature adoption, and retention metrics to identify GTM gaps or messaging misalignment.
  • Partner with Product to integrate customer feedback into roadmap prioritization.
  • Help inform in-app education, tooltips, and feature discovery strategies.

Requirements

Success Metrics

  • Message-Market Fit: Strength and clarity of positioning as measured by win/loss interviews, competitive takeaways, and internal sales alignment.
  • Launch Performance: Timely execution and success of GTM launches based on adoption rates, usage lift, and sales enablement impact.
  • Competitive Readiness: Frequency and accuracy of battlecards, positioning updates, and competitive strategy inputs.
  • Sales Enablement Impact: Engagement with GTM content (e.g., sales decks, pitch materials), influence on conversion rates and deal velocity.
  • App Store Visibility: Growth in installs, reviews, and engagement across marketplaces like QuickBooks and Shopify.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in product marketing with a focus on B2B SaaS, including 3+ years in a leadership or senior IC role. US SMB SaaS market experience required.
