Job Description

This is a remote position for an analytical SEO strategist who excels in scaling traffic through data-driven, high-impact work. We seek a results-focused SEO Specialist to lead advanced keyword research, content strategy, and programmatic SEO initiatives to drive business growth. In this role, you will manage content mapping to technical optimization, build powerful landing page systems, analyze competitors, and convert insights into measurable traffic gains. A collaborative, fast-moving team environment allows for experimentation, precision, and performance reporting, where you can directly influence our organic growth trajectory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research & clustering across commercial, informational, and local-intent terms
• Build long-term SEO content maps
• Prepare detailed content briefs for writers
• Create & manage programmatic SEO (pSEO) location/service landing pages (40–200 pages)
• Perform competitor gap analysis
• Execute internal linking strategy & structured data markup
• Monitor indexing health, crawl budget, and technical SEO performance
• Recommend and coordinate technical SEO improvements
• Track performance via GA4 and GSC
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports

Requirements

• 3+ years of SEO experience (D2C preferred)
• Experience building programmatic SEO location pages
• Proficient in:
• Google Search Console
• GA4
• SEMRush / Ahrefs
• WordPress
• SeoMatic (bonus)

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication

KPI Targets

• +30–50% MoM organic traffic growth
• Increase ranking keywords (Top 20)
• Pages published weekly
• Improved indexing & CWV metrics

Job Highlights

• Contract type: Independent Contractor
• Schedule: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday, between 8:00am to 6:00pm NSW Time (Flexible during client business hours)
