Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer with strong experience in SQL Server 2014, SSIS, and SSRS to support data integration, reporting, and analytics needs within the Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and optimizing complex SQL solutions and working with large enterprise insurance datasets.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of professional experience as a SQL Developer.
• Expertise in SQL Server 2014, T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Strong background in data modeling, database design, and ETL development.
• Hands-on experience working with insurance data, preferably Property & Casualty (P&C) domain.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Azure SQL, Power BI, or other cloud data tools.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions in SQL Server 2014.
• Build and maintain SSIS packages for ETL processes — extracting, transforming, and loading large data volumes.
• Develop, manage, and deploy SSRS reports and dashboards for business users.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting and data requirements.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across various systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SQL performance and data issues in production and test environments.
• Support P&C insurance data structures, reporting standards, and compliance processes.

Additional Information

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
