Job Description

This is a remote position. We’re hiring on behalf of a global top-5 consulting company for an experienced Senior DevOps & API Engineer to support a high-impact project focused on scalable infrastructure, automation, and API integration.

You’ll be responsible for managing automated deployment and API integration processes to ensure infrastructure efficiency, reusability, and scalability across multiple environments. This role combines DevOps expertise with backend development and API design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and optimize automated deployment processes using Terraform and Argo CD (or equivalent).
  • Drive best practices in API management, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Design and maintain RESTful APIs with extensibility and modularity in mind.
  • Contribute to the backend development using Python (FastAPI).
  • Ensure high scalability, maintainability, and observability across cloud systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with architecture and development teams to enhance automation and integration.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in DevOps engineering with a focus on automation and cloud deployment.
  • Terraform expertise for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Hands-on with Argo CD or similar continuous deployment tools.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and API lifecycle management.
  • Backend Python (FastAPI) development experience.
  • Proficiency in RESTful API design and integration.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services.
  • Proficient in GitHub Enterprise and collaborative development workflows.
