Job Description

We’re looking for a talented Freelance UX/UI Designer to join our team on a remote, project-based basis. At New Communication, we design and develop brand-led websites that combine strategy, creativity, and usability. In this role, you’ll be the link between a client’s brand strategy and the final website interface, turning ideas and guidelines into clear, intuitive digital experiences.

You’ll be responsible for designing wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that define structure and navigation, as well as creating high-fidelity UI mockups that align with brand guidelines. You’ll work closely with our brand design team to ensure every website design reflects the client’s visual identity, typography, and color system. A strong focus on usability, accessibility (WCAG standards), and mobile-first design is essential.

You’ll also be expected to gather feedback, iterate quickly, and refine designs based on input from the internal team.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• 2–4+ years of experience designing websites or digital products.
• A proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
• High proficiency in Figma, with a solid understanding of components, styles, and auto-layout.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) to manage assets and brand materials.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating your process, design thinking, and finished web interfaces.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote freelance environment.
• A good grasp of web accessibility (WCAG) and SEO principles (preferred).
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS, WordPress, or familiarity with user research tools like Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity (bonus points).
