Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Interior Designer (freelance or contract) to collaborate with clients and builders at our McLean showroom. The focus is on tile, flooring, and bathroom design selections — helping clients choose materials, colors, and layouts that bring their projects to life. You’ll work closely with our estimating and purchasing teams, guiding homeowners and builders through an enjoyable and efficient design process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and virtual design meetings at our Mach & Rico showroom.
• Assist homeowners and builders with tile, flooring, and bath selections.
• Create selection sheets, finish boards, and design presentations.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to confirm availability and pricing.
• Ensure selections align with project budgets and timelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in residential interior design (builder or client-facing preferred).
• Knowledge of tile, flooring, and bath materials is highly valued.
• Proficiency in design tools (SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Compensation

• $50–$60 per hour, depending on experience.
• Freelance/contract position with flexible hours and a consistent project pipeline.
