Vice Samurai is an independent short film set in Australia and follows Takashi, a samurai mysteriously sent thousands of years into the future, to modern day Brisbane. The story centers on his struggle to uphold his honor while being confronted by modern vices and finding his place in a rapidly changing world. I am a filmmaker with a passion for cinema, seeking an actor for a single job to portray Takashi in this project. The production is planned to film onsite in Brisbane in January or February 2026. Applicants who are willing to travel are welcome, but attendance in person for the full project is required. An example of the pitch deck is available to review for further context.
