Job Description

The Associate Producer role is critical for ensuring that everything runs smoothly for the weekly talk show/podcast aimed at women aged 25-45. This position is responsible for logistics and organization, supporting the Senior Producer and Booker by preparing and coordinating all necessary materials for filming, which occurs every Tuesday or Thursday in DFW, Texas.

Requirements

• Experienced in producing podcasts, talk shows, or digital content.
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
• Reliable and creative, with the ability to support and track multiple moving parts.
• Familiar with Google Drive, Notion, and Canva.
• Comfortable working with a strong, fast-moving host.
• Able to thrive in independent, small-team environments.
• Passionate about women’s stories and interested in contributing to a growing conversation space.

Responsibilities

• Build weekly episode prep documents.
• Gather research links and summaries.
• Assemble guest materials and show notes.
• Send calendar invites and reminders.
• Assist with the run of the show on shoot day.
• Take notes during filming.
• Mark clip timecodes for editors.
• Maintain the shared drive and content library.
• Coordinate with the editor for clips and captions.

Additional Information

Contract and freelance positions available with a pay range of $100-$150 per episode. The role also offers flexible hours and remote preparation throughout the week, making it ideal for freelancers. This is a long-term position as the show aims to expand nationally.
