Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Engineer based in Seattle, WA, to design, develop, and support enterprise data warehouse solutions leveraging Teradata and Teradata tools. This role includes optimizing ETL processes, managing data quality, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance data processing workflows.

Requirements

• Design and develop Tera Data ETL jobs and data pipeline.
• Support enterprise data warehouse solutions leveraging Teradata and Teradata tools.
• Extract, transform, and load data from various data sources into target systems.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across different systems.
• Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Proficient in SQL (intermediate skill level minimum) and able to manage Teradata SQL.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues.
• Write/translate SQL queries and perform SQL data validation.
• Performance tuning of SQL queries.
• Define, manage, and monitor job schedules, troubleshooting issues within the Autosys environment.
• Analyze and resolve issues with Autosys jobs and processes, including job failures and troubleshooting in AutoSys.
• Experience with DataStage ETL, specifically Part Loader.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Optimize database jobs for performance by collaborating with DBAs.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving data loading delays and server outages.
• Review job logs and performance metrics to identify trends and address potential issues.
• Troubleshoot production issues through job log reviews and design changes.
• Develop and maintain documentation for troubleshooting procedures and best practices.
• Resolve data issues arising from load delays or server downtimes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and optimize data workflows.

Salary and Benefits

Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per annum.
