Job Description

Taylor Family Store LLC is seeking a talented, meticulous, and reliable Freelance Product Photographer to capture high-quality images of our retail products at our company location. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, deep knowledge of product lighting, and the ability to consistently produce crisp, commercially appealing visuals that highlight product features and quality.

We will provide a professional-grade camera, lighting, and a dedicated shooting space/studio setup. This role requires an efficient workflow to meet high-volume production demands.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

• Product Photography: Execute high-volume product photography sessions for e-commerce and marketing materials within our on-site studio environment.
• High-Volume Output: A minimum of 25 different items must be photographed per hour. Each item requires between 10 to 15 unique photos (e.g., full view, close-ups of details, texture shots, etc.).
• Studio Operation: Utilize and manage our provided camera, lighting, and backdrop equipment efficiently in the designated shooting area.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our team to understand specific product styling guides, required angles, and overall brand aesthetic.
• Post-Production: Edit and retouch photos after sessions, ensuring accurate color reproduction, optimal exposure, and clean removal of dust/blemishes. Proficiency in color management principles is critical.
• Schedule Adherence: Work collaboratively to schedule on-site photography sessions and deliver images according to agreed-upon deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in high-quality product photography, preferably for e-commerce, showcasing a strong portfolio of still life and close-up work.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail, ensuring products are presented flawlessly, from proper staging to final pixel quality.
• Communication: Strong ability to receive and incorporate feedback regarding product style and quality.
• Efficiency: Highly organized and capable of maintaining a rigorous, high-speed shooting workflow on-site.
