Position: Keyboardist/Organist

Location: Revival Tabernacle, Chicago, IL

Type: Part-Time • Weekly Stipend

Revival Tabernacle is seeking a skilled and ministry-minded Keyboardist/Organist to support our worship team. The ideal candidate will be able to play both classic gospel (90s) and today’s modern worship sound with an urban beat and full-gospel feel.

Responsibilities

• Provide keyboard/organ music for Sunday worship services (10:30 AM)
• Play in various styles including 90s gospel, contemporary worship, Pentecostal praise, and urban worship
• Support praise team, choir, and spontaneous worship flow
• Attend rehearsals as scheduled
• Collaborate with pastoral leadership on musical direction
• Maintain excellence, punctuality, and a positive ministry attitude

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience playing keyboard and/or organ in church settings (preferred)
• Ability to play by ear strongly preferred
• Knowledge of gospel, praise & worship, and modern worship (e.g., Israel Houghton, Todd Galberth, Maverick City, Chandler Moore, Fred Hammond, John P. Kee, etc.)
• Ability to play both upbeat gospel and prophetic worship
• Reliable, committed, and able to work well with others
• Able to play by ear (a major plus)

Schedule

• Sundays at 10:30 AM
• Rehearsals as scheduled
• Occasional special services or events (as needed)

Compensation

• Weekly stipend (amount discussed during interview)
• Pay: $300.00 - $350.00 per week
• Expected hours: 2.5 per week
