We are developing an 8-season prestige limited series based on Jonathan Green’s 2018 bestseller, optioned by 50 Cent. The project tells a 35-year saga from the crack era in the Bronx to a story of community redemption, featuring talent like Michael B. Jordan, Mahershala Ali, Viola Davis, and a Nas x 50 Cent soundtrack. I am seeking a UK-based Co-Producer or Executive Producer on a royalties/backend-only deal to unlock the UK Film/TV Tax Credit, secure broadcaster or streamer commitment, structure the co-production entity, manage compliance, oversee music clearances, and coordinate with US partners. Experience structuring and delivering the 40% UK tax rebate on high-budget scripted series and working on true-crime or urban prestige drama is essential. Candidates must have existing industry relationships and be able to move quickly to set up broadcaster meetings. The successful applicant will receive full producer credit and a share of UK net profits.
