Our mission is to make practical competence accessible. Through local, quality-assured instructors, we offer training in preparedness, outdoor skills, safety, firecraft, navigation, first aid, and other essential capabilities. Some activities take place outdoors, others indoors, but all are designed to strengthen people’s ability to take care of themselves and those around them.

What we need right now

We are looking for a content creator who can translate this mission into compelling short-form video content. Your job will be to capture real moments from courses, instructors, and outdoor environments—and turn them into engaging stories for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

This is not studio work. You will be filming real people, real skills, and real environments—often outdoors, in forests or mountain areas, and sometimes in challenging weather. The content should feel authentic, energetic, and grounded in real action.

Your responsibilities

Film instructors and courses in outdoor and practical training environments

Capture moments involving firecraft, navigation, teamwork, safety training, and skill-building

Edit and deliver short-form video content on a weekly basis

Create strong hooks and storytelling suited for social platforms

Maintain a consistent visual and narrative style aligned with Kompanikollen’s values

What we are looking for

Based in or near Oslo (required)

Comfortable filming outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions

Experience with fast-paced editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar)

Strong understanding of short-form video formats and social media storytelling

Self-directed and reliable—able to work independently in the field

Experience with action cameras (GoPro or similar)

Interest in outdoor life, preparedness, or practical skills

Drone experience is a plus, but not required.

About the role

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being outdoors, telling real stories, and creating content with meaning and substance. You will work closely with instructors and courses, but independently manage filming and content production.
