Job Description

The role involves collaborating with front-end developers to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices within an Agile environment. Responsibilities include building responsive and adaptive website applications, designing and implementing solutions using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, participating in technical discussions, contributing to front-end architecture decisions, conducting unit testing, performing code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position also requires following style guides and optimizing website performance and SEO for an enhanced user experience.

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or Visual Communication preferred; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience using JIRA for task management is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous retail or e-commerce experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with HTML5, JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular), and CSS preprocessors (LESS, SASS, or CSS Modules).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience with version control tools like Git or Bitbucket for code management and collaboration.
• Strong understanding of CSS and JavaScript best practices and performance optimization techniques.
• Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
• Experience using modern frameworks such as ReactJS, AngularJS, or Vue.js.
• Basic understanding of state management tools (e.g., Redux or similar).
• Exposure to build tools like Webpack, Vite, or similar.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience building websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficient in browser debugging using Chrome Developer Tools.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across design, UX, business, and QA teams.
• Familiarity with Node.js, npm, or Deno is a plus.

Pay: $45.00 - $70.00 per hour
